Biostimulators:
Biostimulators are agents that are stimulating your body to create its own collagen and elastin. Collagen is a protein that contributes to your skin’s volume and structure. Age, menopause, sun exposure, smoking and high circulating sugar levels cause collagen to break down which is a major contributor to the formation of wrinkles and folds. Although some patients achieve their desired results after one treatment, most biostimulators will produce optimal results with several treatments followed by a lower maintenance dose every 12-24 months.

Radiesse can be utilized as BOTH a biostimulator and a filler to restore lost volume. This is a good choice for patients requiring both volume or definition such as the cheeks or jawline and they are also in need of collagen building. Results are both immediate for the volumization and definition and over time for the collagen building. Volumization can last 18-24 months and collagen improvement can last >2 years

Sculptra is a biostimulator which has long been used to restore lost volume, thicken the skin and gives patients a lovely glow to the skin. EZ Gel/PRF EZ PRF
